Connect Slack to Grasp for Notification Alerts
Overview of Grasp Slack Integration:
Grasp slack integration allows your team to stay informed about non-complaince ads on Grasp by sending real-time alerts directly to Slack. You can add Grasp to your Slack workspace via the Slack App Directory and configure it to post alerts in specific channels or conversations.

How to Connect Grasp to Your Slack Workspace

Click "Connect with Slack" to begin the OAuth authorization process

Grant necessary permissions by clicking "Allow" when prompted

How to Configure Slack Alerts in Grasp
Step 1: Add Grasp to Your Slack Channel

In your Slack workspace, go to the desired channel or conversation

Type
@Graspto add the Grasp app to that space - If you are using a private channel, please click on 'Add them' to add the Grasp Slack App. Kindly refer to the screenshot for guidance.

This ensures the app has permission to post alerts in that channel

Step 2: Enable Slack Alerts in Grasp

Navigate to the Guideline Setup page within the Grasp

Under the Alerts section, choose to add a Slack channel or conversation where you want to receive non-compliance alerts

Step 3: Finalize the Setup in Grasp

Click the Refresh button to update the available channels/conversations
- Search for and select the specific
#channelor@conversationto receive alerts for that guideline

Once completed, you will see the selected Slack destination listed under the associated guideline in the Grasp app. Alerts will now be delivered in real-time to your specified Slack destination.

Test Integration
- You can go to slack settings in Grasp Slack settings
- Select the desired channel from the list, then send a test notification to see alert messages in the channel. Please refer to the screenshot below for reference
- The test message will appear like this in the Slack channel. Please refer to the screenshot below for reference

Grasp Slack App Compliance and Privacy Information
- The Grasp Slack app uses Slack’s standard OAuth 2.0 protocol to request only the minimum necessary permissions to deliver alerts to your workspace
- Grasp does not access or store Slack messages outside of those needed to send alerts
